MUSIC AND WORSHIP

Pastor Brian Gray gives us a message from the Word of God on Sunday mornings at 11am.  His passionate preaching as well as our spirit filled music allows us to worship with all of our hearts.  We would love for you to be a part of our congregation and worship Jesus with us.

NURSERY AND CHILDREN

We provide a nursery for all services and Children's Church in our Kids Worship Center. We study the Bible in age appropriate groups and our children participate in VBS, Worship choir, RA's, and GA's and community outreach.

YOUTH

Our 7th - 12th graders are actively involved in Bible Study and learn how to apply God's Word to their daily lives.  Youth meet on Sundays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm. They volunteer in the community as well as in our Children's Ministry.  We have a lot of fun on ski trips, retreats and mission trips.

WOMEN

Our women have a wonderful time in their Bible study group on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm.  They also have fun with hosting dinners and going on retreats. Our ladies pray for one another, meet each other's needs and learn God's truth.

MEN

Our men pray hard and study God's Word. We help mentor younger men and strive to serve our church family and community. We meet on Sundays at 6:30pm in groups. We also don't take ourselves too seriously.

SENIOR ADULTS

Our senior adults are active. They participate in various Bible study groups and enjoy meals together. Come get involved and make some new friends.

MISSIONS

From our youngest to our oldest member, we are all involved in missions. Some give graciously and others go and are the hands and feet of Jesus. Our RA's and GA's on Sunday nights at 6:30pm learn about missionary life and purpose. Our Bessie Ruth Group is a women's group that meets once a month to pray for missionaries. Won't you come help us serve others who desperately need the love of Jesus?

What We Believe

We stand uncompromisingly for the inspired Word of God and seek to apply the unchanging principles of God’s Word.

  • The Bible is God’s perfect and ONLY inspired written Word.


  • There is only one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.


  • Jesus is God!


  • Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life on earth, was baptized, and performed miracles. Because of our sins, He sacrificed His life on The Cross, was resurrected on the third day, bodily revealed Himself to men and women, ascended and sits at the right hand of the Father. He will return to rapture the church and reign with power and glory forever.


  • The only way of salvation is ADMITTING you are a sinner and repent, BELIEVE that Jesus is God and He died for our sins, and CONFESS that Jesus is Lord of your life.


  • Why did Jesus die for us? John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but everlasting life.”


  • The Lord loves us so much that He gave us His Holy Spirit to live in us after we are saved.

  • Can you tell me more about Pinewood Baptist Church?

    Founded in 1909,  Pinewood Baptist Church is located in the rural town of Pinewood, South Carolina. However, our church family reaches beyond ourselves to share and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 


    Our purpose at Pinewood Baptist Church is to reach people for Jesus Christ. We help people follow in Christ's loving ways, train them for their ministry in the Baptist Church, and send them out to fulfill their life mission in the world to magnify God’s name.


    We devote ourselves to teaching from the Bible, the true and only inspirited written Word of God. When you join us for worship at Pinewood Baptist Church, you can expect to engage with a community that will encourage and equip you to grow in your faith. From the youngest to the oldest, there is a place for you here!
